Paris est une fête!

Paris was magnificent and dynamic, I fell in love with it almost immediately. I ended up with about 600ish pictures so I'll have to divide these up into days. Day 1: We got from gare de lyon to our hotel in the 11th arrondissement and settled in, we had some time before the vedette/boat ride on the seine, we rushed back to get to the same place for the boat ride which was beautiful at night.

Most importantly, gotta take those selfies

Then we arrived in the latin quarter for dinner at le petit chatlêt, which is right next door to librarie Shakespeare & Co

And second day, day trip to Versailles! A tour of the castle and a walk around the gardens.

The hall of mirrors

And of course Marie Antoinette's bedroom

The gardens were a maze, and at every turn a statue or a fountain or a theatre

That night we went to a concert of classical piano work at a church and following that, dinner at Le Petit Prince de Paris.

At that was just the first two days...
À plus!

  1. WOW! Looks like you are having a wonderful time. WE are all envious of your green grass and flowers! We have nothing but snow here. It got up to 28 today. Feels like a heat wave.
